General Competitions Rules

All entries must be received by 5pm on the closing date of the competition. Certain competitions may have an age restriction, if so, this will be highlighted where appropriate. All competitions must be received by the closing date which is stated in the 'How To Enter' section, however, some competitions may have different closing dates to the general one. This will be stated where necessary. Competitions are not open to employees of Vision Magazine. You may enter competitions more than once, unless otherwise stated.

All entries will be picked out of a hat at random, unless stated otherwise, with all postal, hand delivered and emailed entries considered. The Editor's decision is final. Winners will be informed of their win within 28 days of the prize being drawn. Where possible, the prizes will be distributed by Vision Magazine, however, on occasion, prizes will be sent directly from the manufacturer or relevant agency. Winners address details will be passed on in order to facilitate this. Entries will be accepted via email, post, by hand and in some cases by telephone or sms.

There is no cash alternative for prizes. Prizes may have to be redeemed by a specified date, which will be made clear when the prize is sent to the winner.

Please note that any competition entries received via the web will be subject to data capture, i.e.: we will retain your email address. This address will be not be shared with any other party and will be retained with the sole aim of emailing to advise that the latest edition of the mag is available online. If you do not wish us to retain this information, please state on your entry.

Some competitions may be on-line entry only. This will be clearly stated in the competition itself.
